Got my fix...

After the weekends lack of surf I was really anxious to get in yesterday.

Had a wee look at the local before I headed to class

Small but clean, sunny and offshore

Further round the coast post class

I really love surfing this beach when its small and clean.

Small I know but I did have so much fun throwing the singlefin around. (sorry the last couple of shots are out of focus)

Felt really good to get in yesterday arvo. Aaron and I debated for along time wether it was even worth getting in but we both had so much fun. Theres something about small wave surfing. Getting over your ego and going in when most surfers turn up there noses. Catching bucket loads of waves due to the reduced paddling and crowds. Stretching those fives on the nose and the lack of consequence when it all goes a little bit wrong.

That said lets hope this weekends forecast of a decent swell holds up too. woop woop!

Just a wee note finally sorted out the my problem with enlarging photos. Photos from this post onwards should enlarge when clicked on. Just a pity the last two shots are waaaay out of focus. Still getting to grips with the manual focus of the SLR!
