Part Deux.

Part II as promised. Steve took over the camera whilst I went back in to enjoy the mornings remainders.

Walking to the temple.

Getting there. Just need to learn to it with style!
Autumn textures.
Big thanks to Steve for the shots. You took some beauties!

Smoke on the water.
Stoked and speculating!

Sunday Sessions...

Morning dawned calm, cold and with a funky swell, a heck of a lot more than the forecasted 3ft @14s, followed by an epic evening sun filled glass off.

Steve (aka the goofy superstar) joined me for both high and low tide sessions. Here he is looking in anticipation for whats coming next.
The sun may have went down but the waves kept on coming
Last orders...

In a week when I felt I had largely missed out on waves today more than made up for it. Two super sessions, the first this morning on the push in funky/choppy waves a lot bigger than expected, (Must’ve been more than just a bit of northerly in the swell!) and again this evening on the drop but really clean, sunny, glassy and one of the better sessions I’ve had in a while. Seems that lately it’s been all about having your finger on the pulse, the onshores forecasted for all last week didn’t show and from the charts today wasn’t worth leaving the house for. Damn glad I did though…

More flat distractions...

From such great heights
Bodies in flight
When he's not learning to save peoples lives, Stephen can be found throwing himself of things

S'Campbell getting reintroduced to Irish waters

Swedish love
Went somewhere different to enjoy the sun show
Pity I turned up a bit late

Taking the tour
The walk back
We might of missed the sun but the light show lasted for ages...

River Mouth Bumps...

Unexpected...

Surfed some lumps in front of the river mouth last night. It really was tiny. But I was celebrating. Handed in my last ever bit of uni assessment yesterday. Nuts...

Moody Monday (relief!)

The waves and the weather seemed to be constantly changing tonight
Aaron on a clean grey wall
Grinning his way through another section
The Awog and Almighty Bic really did seem as one today
It wasn't all black and white

Beauty and the Bland..

The light through the thorns...

Taken during a much needed break from the dissertation this evening. Few things clear the head better than a walk by the beach and a good ol' ice cream!

False expectations...

Local hasn't really been doing its thing lately.

Small surf but a beautiful night.

Back on the singlefin

Headed to the local after uni for a dip before dark. The buoys were 10 ft @ 12 secs swell and the cams showed 2ft+ this morning so i was expecting some fun waves. Unfortunately the swell had been dropping all day and by the time we arrived there wasn't much left. The sandbars seem to have changed alot lately so the waves that were coming through weren't doing alot either. Still, t'was a beautiful evening to be out.
Now back to the books...
